History and Evolution
The Net-AV story begins in 1984, when Evelyn Baylin opened Classic Design Contracting, a woman-owned home improvement contracting firm that specialized in unique renovation and construction projects. She was joined by husband Ron in 1988, when he left a career in satellite communications and IT to join the growing business. In 1990, CDC partnered with a Baltimore audio/video production firm to address the growing demand for multimedia systems integration. This partnership, known as Integrated Media Technologies, specialized in full audiovisual and multimedia systems integration for primarily Corporate clients. The IMT partnership lasted seven years before it was mutually dissolved.
1997 marks the true beginning of the company now known as Net-AV. It was that year, after the dissolution of IMT, when Evelyn and Ron Baylin took their decades of experience in contracting, satellite communications, information technology and audio/video systems integration and combined them to create EVRON, Inc., an audiovisual systems design/build integration firm focusing specifically on the Federal, State and Military markets. In time, it became apparent to the Baylins that convergence between the AV and IT worlds was inevitable, so in 2002, they created Net-AV as a division of EVRON to meet the expanding demands of a converging market of networking, security, and audiovisual systems in both the Commercial and Federal sectors.
Today, Net-AV's 20+ years of client relationships is a testament to our ingenuity and integrity. We've built our business on referrals from satisfied repeat customers who appreciate our innovative solutions and reliable support. We bridge the knowledge gap between AV and IT systems so you don't have to. Our expertise in both of these technical realms is what allows us to deliver value beyond clients' expectations, and makes us expert providers of presentation, collaboration, and communication tools that are vital in the modern business world.
