Our Work

Case Studies

A closer look at how we coordinate the whole room — designed, built, and working on day one.

Design-Build · Nonprofit / Association · Washington, D.C.

A design-build executive boardroom, engineered to be heard.

The challenge

A national audit-quality association in Washington, D.C. needed a new executive boardroom for high-stakes hybrid meetings where every word matters. That's harder than hanging screens: it takes intelligible audio across a full board table, clean video for remote participants, and a room that looks the part — with the acoustics, cabling, and finishes all coordinated, not bolted on after.

What we did

  • Designed and built the room end to end on a QSC Q-SYS backbone (Core 110f) that runs the audio and video over one network.
  • Shure MXA920 ceiling array microphones for hands-free, intelligible audio across the whole table — paired with acoustic treatment so the room actually sounds as good as it measures.
  • QSC ePTZ cameras and dual 85" Samsung displays, so remote participants are seen and heard as clearly as the people in the room.
  • Barco ClickShare wireless presentation and a Q-SYS touch panel simple enough that anyone can walk in and start.
  • A dedicated AV-grade network switch, a clean equipment rack, and all-new cabling — engineered, drawn, programmed, commissioned, documented, and trained by one team.

The result

A boardroom that works on day one: every seat heard through the ceiling arrays, every remote participant clear on the cameras and 85" displays, and one touch panel simple enough that the room runs itself. One accountable party took it from drawing to day one — audio, video, acoustics, cabling, and network coordinated as a single job.

New Construction · Education · University of Maryland Hillel

A new student center, technology-ready on day one.

The challenge

When the University of Maryland's Hillel built a new student center, the spaces had to do a lot of jobs — collaboration lounges, a large multipurpose event hall, classrooms, and conference rooms — each with its own AV, all coming online the day the doors opened.

What we did

  • Partnering with Clear Connection, designed and installed displays, projection, audio, and video conferencing across the lounges, classrooms, event hall, and conference rooms.
  • Coordinated the AV with the construction — so floor boxes, ceilings, and millwork all landed where the technology needed them.
  • Programmed and commissioned every room so it worked the day the building opened.

The result

Spaces that look as good as they perform — from an intimate media lounge to a full assembly hall — running on systems designed to be obvious to use and easy to support.

Conference Room · Community Banking · Maryland's Eastern Shore

A modern hybrid conference room a community bank runs itself.

The challenge

A community bank on Maryland's Eastern Shore wanted a clean, modern conference room for Zoom and Microsoft Teams — without the complexity or the IT overhead. It had to just work, every time, for staff who aren't AV technicians.

What we did

  • Built the room on Neat, the appliance-simple platform native to Zoom and Teams: a Neat Bar Pro (camera, mics, and speaker in one) with a Neat Pad for one-touch join.
  • Added a Neat Center 360° table camera so everyone at the table is seen, not just the person nearest the screen.
  • A 75" LG commercial display and Barco ClickShare wireless presentation, on a clean PoE network — installed, programmed, and handed over ready to use.

The result

A conference room the bank's own staff run themselves — walk in, one touch to join, and go. No AV technician, no help-desk ticket, no complexity: exactly what a community bank needs.
